Articulate 360 and Saba 5.5
Greetings. Just wondering if anybody here has any insight into possible course completion/recording issues when publishing courseware created in Articulate 360 on Saba 5.5.
Have a client who is stuck and we are getting a little desperate.
Thanks!
Hey there Ralph!
Thanks for your question. Did you use the SCORM 1.2 publishing format? Storyline 360 SCORM 1.2 courses may never be marked completed or passed in a Saba LMS. Saba uses
cmi.core.exit
differently than most other LMSs, which can prevent content from registering completion. The good news is we created a custom SCORM driver for Saba users so your courses will work as expected. Just replace one of your program files. Here's how!

Thank you SO MUCH for your quick reply.
As a new-comer I am incredibly grateful for your help.
I’ve forwarded the info on to our developer and I will definitely let you know what happens!

Greetings again.
I’m working with a developer in the UK and a client in Asia, so timing can be a bit tricky for us.
Word from our developer in the UK is that he did try the custom driver. Any other possible directions / likely obvious solutions we could try?

You're welcome, Ralph! And please keep me posted!
Hmm, since the custom driver didn't work, I'd like to have our Support Engineers weigh in on next steps. They have access to a Saba testing environment, so hopefully they'll be able to point you in the right direction. You can reach out to them directly right here, and they're available 24/7 to assist!

Was this issue ever resolved? We are having a similar problem uploading our files to Saba?
Hello Teresa and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Did you check out the solution that Alyssa shared above?
I cannot speak for any of the users on this thread regarding an update, but curious if you tested uploading the content to SCORM Cloud to see if you experienced the same issue or if it is limited to your LMS?

Is the custom driver for Saba still valid? I went to view the article that Alyssa shared and there is nothing there.

Hi, Melissa.
Since this is an older discussion, I want to make sure we have the right resource for you. Are you encountering issues with the completion in Saba?
Are you able to share your project with our support team through a case? We're happy to help investigate what's happening.
