Are Accordian features and embedded URLs able to be read properly by a screen reader?
Hi there,
I have created a course in Articulate Rise containing four separate modules/lessons. In each module there are various Accordian features. We have just run some accessibility tests using the NVDA screen reader and have found that the Speech Viewer window is showing the titles from the first Accordian in the module instead of showing the correct titles in the later Accordians. Please could you advise? I am attaching a screenshot.
We have also added various embedded hyperlinks in our text and have found the NVDA screen reader is reading the links as normal text and not as a link. Is this to be expected? Is it better (i.e. more accessible) to use the Buttons feature for external URLs rather than embedded hyperlinks?
Our course needs to be WCAG AA-compliant.
Many thanks in advance!
