Arabic Language not Displaying Correctly
Hello!
Hope I can find some help here.
I am attempting to copy Arabic language from PPT slides into a Storyline slide. I did this once before years ago in SL, but for some reason, when I paste the text, SL is replacing the Arabic text with different characters.
I've added the Arabic language pack to my computer, I've updated to the latest version of SL - I'm not sure what else do to.
I've attached a screenshot of the text on the PPT slide (what I'm copying) and a screenshot of what appears in SL after I paste.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Renee,
Happy to help!
Based on the screenshots, it looks like the right-to-left format was correctly applied but the text failed to render properly. As a troubleshooting step, please try switching your course font to a standard font like Arial to see if this fixes the issue.
if switching to Arial doesn't fix the issue, try repairing your Storyline 360 installation. If the issue persists, please share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening. We'll delete it when we're done testing!

I would agree with Jose, you need a unicode font

Thank you for your help! I believe the issue stems from the way the translation company saved the file. I was able to copy/paste from a Word document without any issues.
When I tried to publish the PPT to SL I received the error 'Online Presentations aren't supported. Save a copy to your local drive to continue' - I think the file was saved in a different format and is the cause of the issue.
