How does one change the owner of a folder in Rise 360?
We have a team of seatholders and understand that content ownership can be changed so when a team member is about to leave, a new owner for their work can be chosen. How do you chose a new owner for a folder? I am anticipating that when team members who own folders leave, I will no longer be able to delete their folders. Thanks!Multiply 4 numeric values
I'm trying to create a business potential calculator in Storyline 360 that multiplies 4 numerical values (NV for below) to result in a dollar amount. Below is what I'm trying to accomplish. NV1 x NV2 x NV3 x NV4 = NV $Amount I'm having trouble coming up with variables and triggers for the Calculate button as I can only multiply one variable with just one other variable rather than multiple variable. I've seen some tutorials on adding up numbers behind the scenes or calculating with only 2 variables, but I'm unable to find something that can multiply 4 numbers together to get a result. I'm creating this in a table so each NV has a descriptor on the slide. I'm at beginner level with using variables, so any way to make this easy to understand would be fantastic. I will often add MP4 videos from the Articulate library in my modules for very short periods of time - 5 to 10 seconds usually, as I like a lot of movement and visual interest. They are just enhancements, decorative, really, like a video of steaming 0s and 1s when I'm talking about data.. Or if I'm talking about analytics, an MP4 of moving bars and charts that I shrink down to fit within a monitor illustration. Is this practice accessible? I do have them autoplay and haven't been adding start/stop/play buttons, as they are only very briefly on screen. These modules are for a government client and 508 compliance is required. Do I need to add a tiny stop button to say, that shrunken down 'analytics' MP4 playing in the monitor for 6 seconds?Custom Feedback Layers Not Displaying
Hello! I have a Storyline course that I am working on where we have a unique feedback layer for each of the responses. I'm not entirely sure if it is just a Review 360 fluke or not, but the SMEs are telling me thatsometimesthey do get feedback layers andother timesthey do not. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening or what the workaround solution might be? Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Hi. I'm working on my first Storyline project. In a previous discussion about slide layer "lag" a community member responded: I would check two things if there is an animation for the entrance of the layer does the timeline for the layer begin at the start I have several slides that load two different layers with results based on user input. The first layer that appears just has simple shapes with some text and variables in them. The second results layers that appear include three small graphics (totaling about 45KB) that animate in one at a time while an mp3 (under 10KB) plays. There's a long delay before the second results layers appear which might make users think they're done with the slide before they really are. How can I speed up the loading of the results layers? Don't they get preloaded with the slide? What should I be looking for that might cause a delay? If having an animation at the entrance of a layer causes a delay, how can I ameliorate that? I've included a video demonstrating the issue. Thank you for any insight you can provide. P.S. You'll also notice that on the first results layer that appears, the text "Housing Unit Assessment Overall" shows up after the rectangles. It's supposed to show up before the "Good!" rectangle to its right, but no matter where I try to time its entrance on the timeline (by having it show up later in the timeline than the appearance of the "Good!" rectangle), it shows up after. Any insight into how to troubleshoot that would also be helpful.Make text on master slide always on top
I have to put a footer at the bottom of all my slides in courseware that was already developed. I put the text in all the master slides, but now I have to go into each layer, in each slide, and make sure no graphics are covering the footer. Is there any way to set text on a master slide to ALWAYS be on top, even on top of layers? What I've been doing is cropping images to show the footer. If there is no way to make text always on top, is there a way to quickly crop an image by entering a number? or do you always have to use the GUI tool?Interactive 360° Image Switch
Hello, I'm experimenting with Storyline's 360° Image feature. I want to add a couple of playful touches, such as switching out the 360 image when somebody clicks on a lamp to illuminate the lamp. As far as I can see, when you have added the image there is no built-in functionality that allows you to seamlessly replace the image with a new image - unless you were to jump to another slide with a new image (This however wouldn't be seamless as the position would reset). Any ideas? Has anyone done it with Javascript? Cheers.Viewing total video length within player
Hi, I have modules with mp4 video's within them. Is there a way to only show the video run time with no other additional player controls? Based on our use case the videos are restricted on the first viewing; we cannot give learners the ability to fast forward through any of the content until it is watched through the first time. Based on searches I am afraid that this still isn't possible, but figured I would see if anyone has a work around. Thanks!
