Presenter 360
311 TopicsSCORM Wrapper
I'm not sure if this is an Articulate issue, or something from Plateau/Success Factors, but here goes. I'm publishing my Articulate 2013 course in SCORM 2004 v2 for deployment on our Plateau LMS. When the course is launched, it comes up in a "wrapper" with a set of control buttons (Suspend, Continue, Exit). Is this something from Articulate, and if so, how can I manage it? At the very least, I need to edit those buttons because the naming is not at all intuitive. I don't see any place within the Articulate tool to control this, although I am seeing some possible connection in the manifest file. I like keeping all of my development files in my OneDrive Folder. However, Articulate Presenter won't allow this as shown by the error msg below. Has anyone found a workaround? Are there any plans to fix this situation? Technically it is saved to my local drive: (C:\Users\wfindlay\projects\....) Keeping everything in OneDrive makes it much easier to ensure every device has the files I need as a developer.54Views0likes24CommentsFree or low cost hosting for SCORM content?
We need to offer training to contractors who are outside our LMS system. Is there a free/low cost service that will allow us to upload SCORM content and provide an open link for people to take without signing in? I think we could do this via a Moodle plug-in on a web site, but I am looking for something a little more turn-key than that. Ultimately, I need an email to be sent upon successful completion. Any ideas? Thanks!54Views0likes12CommentsHangs on Cleaning up Temporary Files
Any idea why Presenter Studio360, while publishing, hangs when it is cleaning up temporary files? I had this issue with another course and submitted it to Articulate Support. This particular project was published earlier without an issue. Articulate 360 updated and now the project will not publish. Hello, When I try to start the free trial, it doesn't work. I fill in my email adress, then my password, then I click on "Start the free trial" and nothing happens (please see attachement). Thank you for your help. Anthony24Views0likes1CommentArticulate add-in is unable to communicate with the articulate.presenter.exe process
I have some issues using any function in the Articulate tab in PowerPoint. E.g. when I tried to insert a character, a very quick screen appeared and dissapeared saying something like "unpack complete" but nothing happened. When I try it now, I get the following error message: "Articulate add-in is unable to communicate with the articulate.presenter.exe proces" After this, I can't close the PowerPoint anymore either (Onlyvia Task Manager). What could be going wrong?20Views0likes15CommentsRestricted navigation not working properly using menu
Hello, I am struggling with this problem when publishing SCORM objects using Restricted navigation. When resuming, user can't navigate through slides already viewed using the menu. When clicking on a slide that has been viewed before closing the SCORM, the "You may only view slides you already viewed" notification pops up. For example, considering the SCORM attached for testing, if the object is closed while on slide 4 (then it means slides 1, 2 and 3 have been already viewed, since the navigation is set to Restricted), when resuming it goes back correctly on slide 4, but it seems like slides 1, 2 and 3 have not been viewed, they are even displayed like that on the menu (a slide already navigated should be displayed in light grey). Navigation works correctly using the PREV button though. I know a possible work-around could be to tell our users that if they need to navigate back they can only use the PREV button, but I would like to understand why the SCORM navigation is not working correctly. I am using Articulate Presenter add-on for Power Point, default player (I only set Restricted Navigation), all updated to last release. The attached SCORM can be used for some testing by anyone who can help me fix this problem.20Views0likes2Comments
