Zoom to fit issue
We want our visually impaired audience to be able to zoom the screen. But are seeing issues.
1. By default the zoom controls in Chrome and Edge SHRINK the screen when the % zoom is increased. Which seems backwards.
I can see that the Frame is what's getting enlarged, and the stage shrunk. Users would want to see items on the stage larger, not the frame.
2, If we enable the "zoom to fit" feature. The browser zoom features work correctly, BUT it initially shrinks the stage. So it is making the screen smaller to begin with.
So:
not enabled = backward/confusing browser controls
enabled = browser controls work, but stage is smaller and "average" sighted users now need to zoom
Is anyone using this feature successfully? Maybe i'm missing something. Thank you

What are the dimensions (width, height) of your slides and what about the sample file?

the name of the command "Zoom to fit" in the storyline interface is misleading
Zoom to fit don't mean "make it bigger", it means "fit the pixel of the slide to the pixel of the screen"
- if your slide is "960x540" and the screen is "1920x1080", the result is a smaller picture => zoom out
- if your slide is "1920x1080" and your screen is "1920x1080", the result is a enlarged picture (the decoration in the browser tab also needs space) => zoom in
- if your slide is "960x540" and the screen is "1920x1080", the result is a smaller picture => zoom out

A feature request was filled, but I didn't really get a resolution.
I'd love to hear from anyone in the community that is using this feature successfully.

I am having the same issue. Zoom to fit is adding scroll bar to see entire page. What is wrong with this? I need a fix.
Hi Teri,
Thanks for reaching out!
Scroll bars appearing when using the zoom to fit feature is normal. You can check out this article which explains why the scroll bars appear when this feature is used:
"If learners zoom in far enough, vertical and/or horizontal scroll bars will appear around slides."
If this behavior is different from what you're currently experiencing, feel free to reach out to our support team by opening a case so we can take a look at what's happening.

Hello,
I'm having this issue with my slide designs as well.
So:
not enabled = slide size is what I've set it up as
enabled = browser controls work, but stage is smaller and "average" sighted users now need to zoom which is not idealI have a sample from another company that when you click zoom to fit the slide gets larger (not the whole page which isnt' what I want).
When I click it on my slides they get smaller.
Can anyone assist please? - Organisation704Community Member
Hello, sure thing.
- Slide sizes are set at 16:9 (960x540).
- Attached is a sample file
- Attached is a small video of what I want to do
