Upload a SCORM file into Rise?

Hi Heroes

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to upload a third-party SCORM file into a Rise module. We have permission to use it and to host the course in our LMS, I just want to include it in an overarching module alongside several other in-house built modules.

  • Hello everyone, 🎉

I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:

There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available. Let me know if you have any questions about this update.

You're right, Phil, we don't recommend distributing your course to learners via the share link.

Guy, here's an article that explains how to find and host your course on a web server.

      I hope that helps! :)

We are in-between LMSs, so looking to use Rise as a training delivery platform (without tracking) in the interim.

So just link to the story.html file in the SCORM package folder that is hosted somewhere else?

  • You could embed it in an iframe using the Multimedia embed block it would have to be available on the web and most likely hosted on HTTPS (or whatever matches your LMS) then construct the frame code to show your "web object"

I have a course made in Rise.  I would like to add a SCORM course that was developed by a third-party vendor into the Rise course.  I know I can add it if I have the Storyline file, then publish to Review, then choose that as interactive media in the Rise course - but how can I do it if I don't have the original SL file?

    I also had this question.

We can use a SCORM course as a module in a Rise course, if it is uploaded to Review 360 from Storyline 360, but is there a way to bring the SCORM file directly into Rise?

      Hi Guy,

Can you tell me more about what you're trying to achieve here? If I understand what you goal is, it'll be easier for me to help you find a solution.

Let me know and we'll go from there!

  • Hi Rachel,

I'm not sure I'm understanding what you're trying to do here. Are you wanting to include a link to another course in your Rise course?

Let me know and we'll go from there. :)
