Trimming imported video in Storyline 360 is a hair pulling experience
I have noticed that when I trim imported video in Storyline 360, it is impossible to predict the starting frame of the resulting clip when placed on the timeline. In the attached file, you can attempt to trim the video wherever you want, but never will it be reflected correctly in the timeline. This made the last project I worked on (an iPad simulation) very difficult to complete. Even if I don't trim anything, Storyline selects the wrong starting frame for the video 100% of the time.
Any ideas, why Storyline NEVER selects the correct starting frame for imported videos and most importantly, a foolproof way of working around the problem?

Thanks, I should be clear that I am referring to the starting frame visible on the timeline. It doesn't match the starting frame of the video. It is not an issue when previewing, only when editing.
Great! Thank you for that additional information, Ben. I'll be sure to let Renato know.
