Trigger action from another scene
I have a project with 9 different scenes. I want to have a trigger associated with a text box in scene 1 fire when the timeline starts on a slide in scene 9. However, when I try to set the trigger up in Scene 1, only slides in scene 1 are options for this type of trigger activity. Is it possible to have an action happen in one scene based on the timeline of a slide starting in another scene?

It really depends on what you want to happen. I can't think of anything that the learner can see if it happens in scene 1 while they are viewing scene 9. Since they can't see it, it doesn't have to happen until they can see that slide. In that case, set a variable in scene 9, and cause your trigger to happen in scene 1 when that slide is viewed, if the variable meets a certain condition.
Of course, if you want more specific help, attach your .story file here, or at least those two slides, or a representation of them.

Thanks Walt, that sounds like a perfect solution and you are right that they will be bouncing back to scene 1 after visiting scenes 1-9, so that is why I wanted it to work this way.
