The near future of elearning and platforms like LMSs

Has your company implemented a large inventory of mini-learning modules with the intent of vacating the normal 30+ minute courses? What are the high level issues surrounding the development of 5-12 minute modules? Did you use Articulate or did you use other internet dev tools for the development? Does your LMS play nicely with the mini-modules? Are the mini modules on the same existing LMS or do you keep the new mini modules separate  on proprietary platforms? Did you build (or intend to build) a new curriculum to accommodate these changes? Did you change your performance evaluation tools for the new mini-modules?
