Table not displaying text/font in scrolling box

Hi, I have popped some content into a table to rationalise it and it looks great in Story View, however when previewed or published it loses all of the text. I'm using Arial and Font Awesome.

I can't share the file, and I have a work around ,but it is annoying from a maintenance view point for my client, which is to make it an image.

In the meantime - is anyone else experiencing this? And, do you have a solution?

Thanks in advance, Kim.

  • Hi Kim,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue with the text not displaying when the course is previewed or published. Have you tried importing your slides into a new Storyline project

If you'd like to share your .Story file here or privately in a support case, I'm happy to take a closer look at what's going on! We'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.

  • Hi everyone

I too am having the same issue any text put into the header of the table does not display in preview or publish mode but displays as expected in story view. I tried recreating the table on a new slide but the same result again. I copied the offending slide into a new project and it did display all text but not the colours etc that I have applied!  Any ideas why this is happening?

      Hi JulieTaylor-3a8!

Sorry to hear you've also run into this behavior!

Does this issue occur across all fonts that are used, or is it specific to certain ones? Also, have you tried performing a repair of your Storyline installation to see if that makes an improvement?

If you're still having trouble, it would be helpful to see a copy of the affected .story file. Feel free to upload that here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
