Hi Laura,
I have a hunch that this problem is due to Storyline 2 Flash output vs. Storyline 2 HTML5 output, since you said the slider works on Tempshare but not on a LMS.
Do you have a sample slide you could share with us that we can use for testing? You can attach it right here in a new thread comment. Thanks!
