Saving Storyline files to the Cloud
Hello,
Is it still not recommended to save Storyline files to the cloud? If not, what is the reasoning behind that?
If you are working in SL, and save it, it is actually saved as a whole bunch of zipped files. If there is some sort of hiccough or lag in that complicated process, the file can become corrupted. It is more reliable to save to and load from a local drive.
Once the SL file is completely saved, you can back it up or move it to the cloud with generally few problems.
You can save files to the cloud. It's recommended that you work on them from the local drive to avoid potential issues with the network messing with the file while you're working in it.
