Put Storyline Interactions Into Rise!

Ernest and David,  The idea of the preview image sounds really interesting! I can definitely share that with my team, and I also wanted to make sure you had the link handy to share other ideas or feature requests  with us right here. 😁 

Rachel,  No defined size - since Rise is responsive, it's going to resize and scale to fit the device you're using. The embedded Storyline block will also resize and be displayed within the responsive player if not viewed on a desktop set up. 

Ruth, It looks like your post is here now? If you saw it greyed out initially that's a part of spam filtering process but not to worry our team monitors that regularly and releases legitimate posts back to the forums (we were off for the Thanksgiving holiday the past couple days - so a bit of a delay!). If you need anything else or have other posts that aren't appearing let me know - it's probably something we'd want to take a look at in your ELH account and that is best handled in a Support case. 

Perhaps it wasn't allowed because I quoted Ernst Huber's request and only wrote a few words myself to say - that would be ace.

now here is a question: can you link a continue button to the status of a storyline block? Imagine creating a quiz in there but the continue button in rise doesn't work until they've done the block.

I'm exploring on storyline blocks on Rise. It work fine when I preview in Desktop and Tablet mode but in Phone mode (Both portrait and Landscape), it just shows a Black background with a play button like a video. Clicking on the play button doesn't work.  I've however tried the link on an Android phone, the interaction can play but I need to click on the play button to open up another screen to use it. 

I've 2 questions and would like to seek advice.

- Can the preview in the phone mode be configured to work like that in Desktop/Tablet mode?

- Can storyline work on phone like normal interactions instead of a video with play button that open another screen?

The play button for the storyline block is also there in android device. I've actually encountered some funny behavior when I have 2 storyline block. I've created a discussion here.

Hello all,

I am wondering if it is possible to embed a storyline file with out using 360. Reason being, there are some courses we have that are confidential and best to not be uploaded on the cloud. Instead, we host the content on our internal server (only accessible if connected to our server by location or vpn). 

When I try using the Multimedia block option > Embed, I receive the error that the file/link is not valid, though I am able to open it just fine in my browser.

Any thoughts?
