Object states behave differently if object is an SVG
Hi,
In the attached example file, you should see that both arrow images are configured to disappear on hover. However, this only works as expected with the PNG version, not the SVG version.
Can you please confirm if this is expected behavior?
Many thanks in advance.
Hello,
I just wanted to chime in and share that we are currently tracking a known bug that causes built-in or custom states to not work with SVGs. I've added this community post to the bug report so we can notify everyone subscribed to the thread as soon as a fix is released.
Thank you Pierre for sharing the workaround! I'm sure this will be helpful for everyone who comes across the same issue.

Has this bug been fixed yet? Are we able to use built-in and custom states with SVGs now?
Hi Cassie,
Sorry to hear that you ran into this issue. We're still looking into this bug, but I added your voice to the bug report so we can notify you when a fix is released. You can try this workaround in the meantime while we work on a permanent fix:
- Use the PNG format of the SVG. Save it as PNG by right-clicking image > export picture > save the picture.
Let me know if you have any questions!

SVGs have a complicated history with Articulate, and I wouldn't be surprised if this is considered expected behavior at this time. I was able to create the behavior you want by going old school and building a trigger. I hope that helps.
