I cannot figure out where or why I cannot remove this on my slide (lightbox)
Bottom - white portion
Without seeing the slide, I am going to assume that the slide has some player features enabled, but it looks like the player is not enabled.
I'd check the lightbox properties, slide properties, and player properties.
