Last slide in a try mode scene is blurry

Hello,

I am using Articulate Storyline 360 to build a course. I have created a 3 steps try mode scene, but want the last (4th) step of this section to be a screen capture. The tool that I am demonstrating moves through the 2400 clock in large segments. I want to stop the action and demonstrate something that happens at a time earlier than the natural time stop of the tool. That is to say, when I do the try mode, the screen recording for the last step goes from 1630 to 1700 because of the incremental jumps of the tool. But I want to demonstrate something that occurred at 1645. My intention was to end the try mode segment at 1630 and then jump (with a hotspot) to a screen capture of 1645.  But when I do that, both the 1630 and 1645 pictures are blurry on Preview. I tried to use fine tuning on that 1630 step to see if I could end at 1645, but I couldn't slide either the start or stop time. I tried deleting the screen recording from the 1630 slide so that it could just jump to the 1645 slide. The pictures remain blurry.  I have used this same technique of jumping from a try scene into a screen capture slide in multiple other courses and haven't had this problem. Has something changed? PS I exited Storyline and opened it again. The problem remains.  Thanks for your help!

  • Hi Liza,

Welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community!

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue with your project. If you're comfortable sharing, I'd like to take a look at your file to help me troubleshoot. • Hello Kelly,

I tried to use the link to send the case using the private link. It will not go through. Is there another way we might connect?  I would really like to get to the bottom of this.  I have reached out to Articulate Support as well.  Thanks!
