Hover states, previous states not restoring after opening lightbox

The on hover trigger can be flakey, in this case the Lightbox trigger is then locking the slide and preventing the mouse out from occurring. I think it may be easier to show a layer with the Highlight effect on hover and then have a on click hide layer trigger before the on click show Lightbox.
Or add on trigger trigger before the Lightbox to return them to normal
