Gemba Academy Videos and Storyline Assistance Please

Hi All,

The company I work for has a Gemba Academy membership.  We take some of their courses (all videos) and bring them into Storyline.  The problem is the closed captions, which are generated through Gemba, come in directly over the text on the slides.  See attached picture.  Thus far, no one on my team has figured out a way to fix this so I thought I'd see if any of the experts here might have some ideas.  Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

  • If the captions are generated by Gemba and they do not allow you any control, then your only option may be to turn off captions generated by Gemba and put the captions on yourself manually, either in Storyline or in video editing software, like Adobe Premiere Pro.

Captions sometimes have to be moved in order to avoid exactly what is happening in your image, which is covering up something important on the screen. Again, if you have no control and can't move them, then you may have to make your own and then move them as needed. :(
