Event Countdown in Storyline 360
I am looking for a way to include a countdown to an event in Storyline 360. I’m finding examples for quiz and activity timers, but not something tied to a specific date and time. I am not experienced with JavaScript yet, but am willing to give it a try. Does anyone have thoughts, advice, or examples?
Thanks in advance!
I've seen some people insert this as a webobject https://vclock.com/

Thanks - I don’t see a way to be able to customize the day/time of the event. I DID find a holiday that correlates to the event but there doesn’t seem to be a way to not display the name of the holiday. I will tuck this one away for future projects.

Ofcourse thats all possble with Javascript. Two options i have used ( and mocking up a quick example now ) are triggering some action on a specific time and date.... and triggering something after some time expired after some action.
Example will follow asap... - MathNotermans-9Community Member
Here is a sample with 3 timers in it that based on specific times passed act.
After 10 seconds an image shows... after 25 seconds a message popups warning you the course will close if you will not act...and so it will :-) - MathNotermans-9Community Member
And here is a sample showing how to work with Dates.

Do change the Date to a past date and the content will be unlocked.
The Storyline is added.- MichaelMolnar-4Community Member
Thanks! I am hoping to be able to display a real-time countdown with numbers. I think I will begin to learn JavaScript - probably about time. :)

Countdown basically is simple math. With the samples i provided you should be able to make that work.
