We didn't make any major changes to how the navigation triggers in Storyline 360 work, so the expected behavior should still be the same. If you have your navigation triggers set to jump to certain slides or scenes, then that's where the course should take your learners as long as there are no other triggers or conditions that would take them elsewhere.
Also, note that the "Previous slide" in Storyline 360 does not refer to the sequential slide before the current slide in focus, but rather the last viewed slide visited by the learner.
With all that being said, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can check how your navigation triggers are set up? This will help us confirm if what you're experiencing is expected behavior or not. Feel free to share a recording of the behavior if that would make it easier for you to show us your expectations with the behavior of the navigation triggers.
