Editing SRT Files

Hi all - Here is my issue I hope y'all can help with:

We have a SRT file for captions for a video. We have to cut up the video that the SRT file goes with into various parts so the parts can go on different slides in Storyline with their caption files.

Is there a way to cut up the SRT file such that its parts will match the video parts AND the timestamps will reset for each part?

Currently, we cut up our videos, then run each part through an AI to generate a caption file for each part. The timing is accurate, of course, but the process is time consuming, so we are investigating ways in which we might cut out out the part where we run it through an AI and be able to get the video parts and the SRT parts in one fell swoop.

I know this isn't really Articulate related, but y'all are smart and helpful. Thank you in advance!
