Compressed file don't have .story file within it.
Hello,
A coworker sent me a .zip file that, according to him, is a SCORM file, but within that compressed folder there is not a .story file. What does that mean? Was the file created with a different app (not storyline)?
Now I want to open it in Storyline but I can't.
Any suggestions?

Storyline (.story) files are the project files used by Storyline itself. SCORM files are the output created by Storyline when the course is published. You would need the project .story file from your coworker to use Storyline, not published course output

That's what I thought. Considering that there is not ".story" file within the zip folder, can I assume that he used a different app to crate this SCORM?

Not necessarily, SCORM files are used to publish the project. . story files are used by Storyline to develop the project. You can't edit the SCORM file. You need to ask him for the .story file to do any editing.
