Color of Text in Notes Pane
How do I change the color of the text in the Notes pane (image below) from black to white ON ALL SLIDES without having to go through each of the slides I have? Is there a place where I can set it universally? NOTE: NOT THE PLAYER!!!!
Hello all!
Good news! In Storyline 360 (Build 3.85.31840.0), you can now instantly update the formatting of all slide notes in your project.
From here, all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app!

Hi Jim
the attached PDF should help you with which object in the Player > Color & Effects you need to modify

Hi Jim,
I hope Wendy's file helps. I also found that Mike Taylor outlines a way of doing this via the translation feature found here.
I tested and was able to bulk edit the notes font type/color/etc. By exporting to MS Word, making the changes and uploading it back to my story.
Please let me know if you have further questions :) - AlisonCoops-021Community Member
Hello,
As far as I can tell, both of these solutions are out of date (I'm using Storyline 360). As I update courses to the modern player I have been manually going through each slide selecting all of the notes text and changing the font color (so it won't be black on black (as in Jim's image above) and sometimes the font size (It seems to shrink to 9 point if it wasn't manually changed to a different size.) Now I've come to a course where the manual method doesn't work. I select all of the text but it thinks it's already white. I just changed it to black and it shows up white, but what's going on and is there an easier way to fix it?

Hi Alison,
It's very strange that the manual method of changing the text in notes isn't working! Would you be willing to share your files here or reach out to our Support Engineers privately in a support case?
Thanks for reaching out!

It was actually only the first slide that had this issue. Changing that slide to "black" worked. I was able to change all of the other slides. But what about the larger issue? Every time I update a course to the Modern player I'm having to manually change the color of text on each slide. Why is this happening and is there a way to change it globally?

Hi Alison,
Thanks for the update on your course!
I'm sorry you're having to deal with changing the text color after updating your course in the modern player! It sounds very frustrating! There has been a feature request submitted for formatting notes globally. I will add your voice to that request. When there is some news about this feature, this conversation will be updated.

Add my voice as well - I changed an older course to the new player and now all the notes are the wrong color. I would love a way to change all notes text at once. For this course and so many others.
