Client having issues uploading Rise SCORM

Hi all, one of my clients is having an issue uploading the SCORM for our Rise course to their LMS. They're using SAP Success Factors which uses SCORM 2004 2nd and 4th edition. I send them the SCORM zipfile via a Dropbox link. When they upload they get the message: "An error was detected: getzipFile(filename, uploadD,addXMLFilesOnly) error occurred while retrieving the file from db"

I've attached a screenshot of the error. We have no problem adding SCORM to our LMS, so I don't understand what the issue is. Does anyone have any insights please?

Thanks Laura

  • Hi Laura! Please ask your client to unzip the file, then immediately rezip it without making any other changes to it. Often that simple step will allow the zipped output file to import correctly. Let us know if that helps!

Hi Lauren! I'm sorry to hear the solution did not work. What tool are you using to zip the file? We've had users report that WinZip and MS Zip did not work for them, but WinRAR works perfectly. Can you try using WinRAR? Let us know how it goes!

  • Hi Lauren, were you able to resolve this? We are having similar issues.
Uploads to Moodle fine but not to Success Factors.

Hi Hayley! I'm sorry to hear that you are encountering issues uploading courses to Success Factors.

What compression tool are you using? Have you tried Lea's suggestion above to see if that will fix the issue you are experiencing? Feel free to open a case here if you continue to encounter this issue. Our Support Engineers will be more than happy to take a closer look.
