Background Music Management
Background audio feature is great!
But I feel it would be better to make background audio play on selected slides rather than by default the entire course has bkg music, and you have to trigger the excluded slides. One typically needs to have background music of one sort in one repeated chunk of the course, and a different one in others. For example: all chapter beginnings have one music, dialogues - another, and important content slides - no music. Thank you! Darya
Hello Darya,
Happy to help!
A trigger to control when background audio would play was already added to Storyline 360's Update 81 release!
Here's what this new trigger looks like, which you can find when you add a 'Pause Media' trigger to your slide:
Let me know if this is what you were looking for!

No, that's not what I am looking for.
I am looking for the opposite, I am looking for a positive trigger for background music, not a trigger to stop it. I thought I had explained it pretty clearly in my post, let me know if I need to rephrase it again.
I'm happy to jump in, and I apologize for the confusion! You can also use a Play Media trigger to control your Storyline project's background music; that way, you can Stop or Pause the music in some slides and Play it in other slides:
Please let me know if you have any questions.
