Attempting to recreate the Rise Sorting Activity in Storyline
I'm attempting to recreate the Rise Sorting Activity (card drag and drop) in Storyline. Unfortunately, I have too many characters/word count to use the Rise template.
I'd love some suggestions. I'm having difficulty with getting the drop correct state and drop incorrect state to function in a similar manner as the Rise interaction.
Drop Correct: I'd love the card to slowly shrink a bit smaller, add the checkmark, and then slide down and disappear. It doesn't appear I can do any of those things. I've given up on having the card slowly shrink.
I've tried the animation options many times. I can't figure out how to get the Exit animation to work on the drop correct state (or any state really) to allow the card to slide down similar to how it works in Rise.
Drop Incorrect: I can't figure out how to get the card to shake and return to the original position. Storyline doesn't allow motion paths in states.
Any suggestions? Just trying to problem solve some options here before I give up and just stick with some basic transitions...
Here is the project in review mode. I inserted it in a Rise lesson with the rise block activity & my interaction to make the comparison easy.

This message is probably too late but I was looking to do the same thing and came across this, which may help if you're still interested: https://insertknowledge.com/free-custom-sorting-activity-with-images-for-articulate-rise/

This is the closest I could get to recreating the Rise Sorting Activity in Storyline based on the original post. It involves using motion paths and variables to coordinate the animations and interactions smoothly.
