Assigning a seat temporarily to someone else
Hi, I need to assign a seat temporarily to someone else during a fairly extensive vacation period to allow work to continue. If I remove access to one seat, how do I get it back after the vacation is over and what happens the content developed during that time. Thanks for any help. Irma
Hi Irma,
You can follow the steps in this article to temporarily assign a seat to someone else. When you are back from your vacation, you can let the temporary seat holder know that you will be removing them from the team and that you will be assigning their content back to you.
As mentioned in the article, you will need to add the person first as an admin. Make sure to remove that person as an admin if you don't want the person to have access to your Teams account.
Since you are the owner, you don't have to add yourself again as an admin since you are still one in your account. You may skip this step in the article once you are back.
