Presently our Rise 360 courses are on our website. We do not limit who can take them - basically if someone bumps into them, they can take it. However, we need to start capturing basic info...
As i use Instructure Canvas too, i agree with you thats not the best option. Wordpress with some plugins as Phil suggests is a good option. Saving data to Wordpress can be quite easy with DiscoverElearning's plugin https://discoverelearninguk.com/store/variable-magic-for-storyline/
They also can help with setting up WordPress.
