Not able to comment in Review 360

I'm having problems with sharing modules for review in Review 360 with one particular user. I can share and receive comments from everybody else but my manager. When she tries to enter her comments she is asked to log in using her Articulate ID. She has never used Rise but may have created a profile at some point. The point is that she can't remember her password and when she tries to get it by clicking 'forgot password' she doesn't receive a new one. She has also tried logging in using her gmail.com email but that doesn't help either.

It is incredibly frustrating. Is there any way to 'reset' her completely so that she can access and comment on modules like everybody else?

      Hi,

As mentioned, I only have problems with the following user:

      Jannie Højer, jaho@kvadrat.org or jaho@kvadrat.dk

Med venlig hilsen / kind regards

  • Hi Steven,

I have checked the checkbox correctly. As I wrote I don't have any problems with any other reviewers.

I will share her details with support privately.

  • Hi, Morten!

I'm happy to jump in here and assist you. I don't see a support case opened under your name or your colleagues. Could you please confirm that you've opened a case?

I checked the emails you provided for Jannie, and it appears that there was a previous trial associated with jaho@kvadrat.dk. If they have access to that email, I'm happy to open a support case on their behalf to provide them with a temporary password.

Also, just a quick note that replying via email includes your signature here so you are welcome to edit the post and remove that information if you wish!

  • Can anyone tell me how this was resolved?  I'm having the exact same issue with one user today. Other reviewers are able to get in without any issue.

Note that this user does not have or need an Articulate account. She is a SME and just needs to review and comment the course.

  • Hi Philip,

Thanks for reaching out. I see that you've opened a support case and you're working with our colleague Robert. You're in great hands!

We'll continue the conversation over in your case.

  • Hmmm...I was also hoping to see how this was resolved.    I am having the same issue today with a reviewer who does not have an Articulate ID.  I have checked the box and enabled comments, but she's still not able leave comments.  She said it keeps asking her for an email and when she enters it, it takes her to the comment area, but she's not able to type anything and it says comments not available.   She said she has never used Articulate or signed up a trial before.

I tried re-publishing to a new link, with the correct settings and she's still not able comment.  I tried sending the link to someone else to have them see if they are having the same issue, but I haven't heard back yet.  Figured I'd check here, while I was waiting.

I guess I'll file a ticket if I hear back from my colleague that it's working for him, but still not for this other person.

No resolution here, Kelli. Good luck.

In our case, my colleague just switched to another email address and has no problem, aside from the inconvenience. It almost certainly has something to do with her creating a log-in but not finishing the process. I'm guessing that this unfinished profile is why she can't comment without logging in, and she can't log in because she didn't finish setting up the profile. Seems to me that there should be a way on the Articulate side to wipe that account out of the system, but that side of the tool is beyond me.
