Downloadable PDF from course content created

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Articulate and to the world of e-learning, so I'm sorry if this has been asked in the past!

I am building a programme where clients can create a CV.

The answers that clients provide will populate on a slide. However, once the client has entered all relevant information, I'd like them to be able to download their CV in a form of a PDF.

Is this something that can be done in Storyline or Rise?

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi, Deborah,

That can't be done with Articulate's built-in functions.

I have seen other posts about using PDF Maker, which uses JavaScript. (That's not my area of expertise, though.)

  • Hey Deborah and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! 😊 I'm glad you posted your question here! As Judy pointed out, it sounds like you'll need to use Javascript. Although we don't provide support for JavaScript coding, I wanted to share a few resources with you. We have one article that shares a snippet on how to print a current slide. There’s also this helpful discussion by Owen Holt on how to print anything in Storyline. I hope those resources help!

  • hmm?  this has me thinking about how at completion of quiz a certificate can be populated on a slide to be printed.  With that said, if the form is a one page form.  Perhaps look to the input field tools and have it generate onto a single slide as a form that can be printed.
