Built In and Custom Built Result Slides
Hi all,
I am trying to create a quiz where I will have 5 multiple choice questions and 5 multiple responses. The multiple responses need partial credit i.e. 2 points for correct answer and not for correct question. I created a variable that sums up all the points from the multiple response questions however, I am not sure how to combine the results from MC questions (built in SL result slide) and my custom result variable. I don't want to have two separate result slides, just one with the total number of points.
Has anyone come across such case?

A Storyline Results slide can only score graded question slides (standard or Freeform). And you can't adjust the built-in scoring variables with a trigger.
One possible solution is to build each MR question on a disguised MC question. Use triggers that check the MR answers to select an MC option that provides partial credit. Thank you for your answer. I think this could be our solution. Is there any chance to copy the notes from the SL file into here or get print screens of how this is done, as I am not allowed to download external content on my work laptop.

Thank you Judy for doing this. I need to have a look at this in more detail, as there are a lot of triggers involved from what I can see, just by briefly looking at it. It's certainly something worth considering though. Thanks a lot.
