I realize I'm late to the party, but here's mine: http://tinyurl.com/nqutuaz
I'm not an e-learning freelancer, but I've been in the industry for three years now and one of the best tips I have ever received was to simply manage expectations. Managing the expectations of every single detail of a project and clarifying those details to all stakeholders is something that I strive toward, but like many of these tips, it's a skill. It's something that is learned and improved upon with each project. It can save you time, money, and your reputation.

When I worked with freelancers I learned how differently people manage expectations. It really helped me as both an internal and freelance employee.
