Hi everyone! For this challenge, I had help from PPT to find a 3D object. This was my first time using a 3D image in Storyline and I really enjoyed making it. I wanted to create an interaction that allows the learner to access information about different parts of the object as it’s moved around. The Earth seemed like a good option, so my sample allows you to learn a bit about the seven continents of our beautiful planet. Text was generated in Chat GPT. Enjoy!

I have a question that I was hoping I could get some help on. I was using a keyboard to interact with my sample when the "click-only" option is checked on the introduction slide. When I tab thorough initially, I am able to access the arrows and pause button to make the slider/dial move automatically. However, after I click on a continent and close the continent information slide, I can no longer tab to the arrows. The arrows and pause button are on a layer and each of the continent buttons are on layers. I can access the slider/dial and other buttons, so why can I no longer access the layer with the arrows after closing a continent slide? I have checked the focus order, and it should be working. I'm still learning about accessibility, so any help would be appreciated!

- ThierryEMMANUEL8 months agoCommunity MemberHello Thaddaeus. Obviously, your layer named "Accessible Layer" is still visible but is no longer accessible through the tab interaction when you return to your "Earth Explorer" slide after exploring another slide ("Africa" for example) and I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY. Maybe someone smarter than me can figure it out and correct it.
On the other hand, I've found two possible ways of solving the problem. It's simple, but quite difficult to explain in a few words. In short: put the "Africa" content on a layer, not on a separate slide (you have to set some details so that you don't see the tab interactions on the base layer) OR don't put the buttons (left, right and pause arrows) on an "Accessible layer" but on the base layer with hidden/normal states if you've clicked on "click-only options" or not. It works in both cases. More details in private message if you need them (I left my email in the Review). I hope this is useful.
