Dos and Don'ts in E-Learning #303: Challenge | Recap

How Can Course Designers Show Dos and Dont's in E-Learning?

A lot of e-learning is designed to change or modify behavior. This is true for performance-based courses as well as information-based courses, like compliance. In both cases, there are actions that learners should and should not do regarding a topic, activity, or event.

To help learners easily scan and digest slide after slide of text, you can visually summarize the content into bite-size lists. The slides can also be converted to .PDF formats that learners can print and reference long after they’ve completed the course.

The challenge for designers is to find creative ways to present opposing lists that are visually appealing, easy to read, and help learners process the information. And that’s what this week’s challenge is all about!

Challenge of the Week

This week, your challenge is to share one or more examples for presenting opposing lists using a "Dos and Don'ts" format.

Your entry can be static or interactive, so feel free to share anything you can think of. Even silly ideas can help trigger practical solutions, so don’t hold back!
