This challenge reminded me of a recent product I created, so I thought I'd pop the DRAFT in (still building it out). http://divers1fy.com/tech_debt/
What I've attempted to achieve in it:
(A) 'read the text on the screen' was designed to inject a little humour, and also highlight that I value the learners time. It was a little bit tongue in cheek about other eLearns I've seen and hated.
(B) use narration and visuals, keeping text to a minimum... it's all about the narrative... people looove stories!
(C) use simple images to convey complex topics. I specifically told a 'kids' story, because the topic is so overwhelming. I think it lightens it up a bit, and still keeps the learning in there.
Enjoy!

Nice work Tim,
Using that simple story with the boy was a great idea for illustrating the topic. Nice use of images, animations, and music throughout.

I began to create the product as an animation, but it lost some of its appeal (which was interesting). I think I'll leave the photo-styling in there now, but just clean up the music and audio sections.
