Bold & Beautiful Art Movements 1900 to Today

How about 10 next buttons on one slide?
When you study art history it is often taught linearly because it's hard to disconnect the art from what is happening in the culture or politics of the time. In this demo I turned the next buttons into objects/labels you can drag (or alternatively click if dragging is hard for you, like it is for me). You can explore 10 different major art movements/styles in any order you like (and see the art hung in a gallery). I can think of a bunch of other ways to do this demo, but since it was about next buttons I over-used them.

- JodiSansone5 months agoCommunity MemberIf you could kindly check something out for me--I noticed that the dragging/dropping is working on my phone, but the clicking is not. I would have expected the opposite. It works fine on a desktop, but the phone isn't working 100%.
- Jonathan_Hill5 months agoSuper HeroHey Jodi - oddly, the first 'explore' button isn't working when I run this on my phone. (Android, Chrome browser.) Pretty late here, but I'll take a deeper dive into this tomorrow. On the face of it, that is odd behaviour.
- LeeRhyne-d84a3b4 months agoCommunity MemberI love this Jodie, very intuitive and engaging.
- ThierryEMMANUEL4 months agoCommunity MemberInteresting and well done, Jodi. I like the "see it in the gallery" option. You can see if it fits your wall and you can buy it.
All buttons work (clik and drang'n drop) for me, on Android. No problem. - JodiSansone4 months agoCommunity MemberThank you all for checking my navigation. I neglect thinking about mobile.
- AshiTandon4 months agoCommunity MemberFor a second, I forgot this was a demo and kept waiting for the song to come :P Bold and beautiful demo!
- SabrinaSgoda-334 months agoCommunity MemberThe first button didn't work with click in Edge Browser, but droppin it worked.
Love it! - Jonathan_Hill4 months agoSuper HeroWorks really well on my laptop, but still a little tricky on my phone -- but that may just be my phone. Great concept (click or drag) and beautifully composed, as always.
- Ron_Katz4 months agoCommunity MemberI like the two options of selecting or dragging and dropping. The variety of styles and the selection of samples was cool. I like how the gallery options featured varying numbers of "viewers"
- wrighs274 months agoCommunity MemberThis is neat, Jodi! 🧑🎨
Would be cool to add a map of the gallery so a learner could go back to view something in addition to the restart at the end. - CydWalker_mwhc4 months agoCommunity MemberI always love your short courses on art Jodi, a more engaging way to learn about art history versus the classroom lecture.
