Hello!
I still receive a lot of enquiries about this demo, but it looks like my full blog post disappeared when the Community website relaunched.
To clarify: it's not flash or html animation that spins the plates, but closely timed, repeated state changes. The quiz has a 100% pass rate, and any incorrect answers do limit your choices on subsequent questions, even sometimes removing the correct answer. It's designed to mimic the 'cascade' effects of poor resource planning.
If I were making the demo today, I would probably use Javascript to ensure the correct answer is never taken out of play. But this demo was intended to show how the (then new) Jump To Time trigger can be used to create GIF like repeated animations, with none of the drawbacks of GIFs.
Now that I've said all of that, I'll probably update this demo to make the testing a bit more robust - watch this space!
Resource planning and cascade effects of poor decision making are areas I still enjoy working in.
