- EmmaB-afd21e13-Community MemberFor anyone wanting to see how I created this Rise course, I have two videos on my Youtube channel talking through both setting it up in Rise and creating the Illustrations.

- SharonBlanch070Community MemberThank you so much for sharing this with us. It's beautiful!
You don't need to use JavaScript to remove the mobile play button on the interactive SL blocks. Instead, add a button to start the activity at the very beginning of the SL slide. Set it exactly like you did in the first interaction: how many oceans? If you click on the link to the course above, you don't see the play button during that interaction. This works on desktops, laptops, hybrid laptops, and tablets. You should also not see the play button when previewing the course in Rise in these device modes. I can't remember if this worked on phones, too.
- MikeVictorick-fCommunity MemberBut how? I would love to see the back end of this!
- EmmaB-afd21e13-Community MemberThis is a Rise course uses embedded Storyline blocks and custom illustrations. :)
- FormacinyDesarrCommunity MemberI think they designed the tests with Storyline and put some GIF images in blocks. Looks great tho.
- LeslieMcDowellCommunity MemberThis is a gorgeous course! However, much of what makes it so beautiful is your expertise with Storyline.
- KellyWellerCommunity MemberWow! This is beautiful.
- CaseyEdwards-6dCommunity MemberEcho, Beautiful! Captivating and fun!
- AshlySquiresCommunity MemberI agree, would love a backend tutorial on how to achieve this look!
- KellyWellerCommunity MemberI see - does that mean that you created the storyline blocks and inserted them one after the other, and made the background of them the same colour so they would blend in?
- EmmaB-afd21e13-Community MemberSo there's only around 4 Storyline blocks in the whole course- the rest is Rise functionality. But yes, the Storyline blocks have the same b/ground colour as the Rise block to allow them to blend.
- MarthaLopez-c11Community MemberGorgeous! Thank you for sharing this. Would you also be willing to share what it looks like on the back end? (Just echoing what others have said.) It would help me learn how I can do something similar.
- EmmaB-afd21e13-Community MemberThanks Martha! I've left a comment below with a link to a video, where I talk through how I created this build :)
- ChristyThurs811Community MemberEmma, this is very nice! Love it. I have been working on a few samples with a similar look piecing together different image blocks and blending the background colors but I discovered that it is much harder in the original multi-lesson format. It works very well in the newer microlearning format I assume because it's all in one page - the images seem to adapt better to different devices. In the original multi-lesson format, especially portrait mobile and tablet views, the images get cut off or overlap. Any tips on how to rectify that?
- EmmaB-afd21e13-Community MemberThanks Christy! It definitely does work best in the microlearn format. To be honest I've found the only way around it is trial and error, trying out different image proportions and constantly switching between devices. If I'm doing a header style image, I try and keep everything as central as possible, to avoid things being cut off when moving between devices.
- JaneCarpenterCommunity MemberWas After Effects used to make the graphical movement?
- EmmaB-afd21e13-Community MemberNope, just Affinity designer and then an online GIF maker :) I'm absolutely rubbish at After Effects!
