Super Hero
I don't know that I could ever come up with enough superlatives to describe the personal and professional benefits of following and participating in the challenges. It's the best thing an elearning designer could do to hone their skills, connect with their community, build their portfolio, and - thanks to the rollickingly inclusive tone set by you, David - have the best time ever along the way.

I don't know that I could ever come up with enough ways to say "thank you" for all you did for the challenges, Jackie. Not only did you share 200+ examples over the years, but you were our top challenge recruiter. I probably need a second leaderboard for "Friends of Jackie" to highlight all the newbies you encouraged and mentored in the challenges.
- JodiSansone3 years agoCommunity MemberYes, Jackie's and Montse's projects were the first ones I tore apart. :)
- TracyCarroll3 years agoCommunity MemberJackie's challenges were both inspiring and terrifying for me! I lurked on the site for many months before gathering the courage to join in. I told myself that even Jackie must have had a learning curve, so it's okay if I start posting at the beginning of my learning curve. :)
- JackieVanNice3 years agoSuper HeroWell, inspiring is good, but invoking fear was never an aim, Tracy!
I was as scared as anyone else when I started lobbing in challenge entries. Even after being buoyed by feedback from this wonderful community I still questioned - every single week - if what I was about to post was actually just the worst.
There's a lot to be said for silencing that inner critic. :)- TracyCarroll3 years agoCommunity MemberMaybe I should have said your challenges were always scary good! :) My inner critic is really a pest.
